Would you rather pay to have your ad show up someplace (and then it goes away when you stop) or pay someone to make amazing value added content that you’ll have forever, that Google with AUTOMATICALLY find and push towards the top of the search rankings (because they reward those people who “get it” and who aim to serve and educate the public rather than just pitch stuff to them)?

Obviously, doing all of it (running ads and content) is great if you have the budget for it, but if money is tight, and you can’t afford to gamble, I’d bet on content every time.
